Tom
Lemanski is the President and founder of Vista Development in Deerfield,
Illinois. After over 20 years as an top level executive in two diverse
industries, Tom transitioned to guiding the growth and development of
others. Since 2001, he has served as an Executive Coach and Trusted
Advisor to principals in over 30 different product and service industries.
Tom helps executives and their organizations to implement a holistic business approach to
committed execution of business processes. Working with upper level
management, he helps clients to discover and implement the positive change needed
for higher levels of performance by developing self-awareness, soft skills,
attitudes and clarity of focus.
Prior to founding Vista Development, Tom spent 27 years as a business owner, including 6 years as President of a consumer product marketing company, Soho Corporation. In his six years as President he led a turnaround that doubled the sales of the company by shifting focus to a new market, rebuilding the product line and the sales organization.
For twenty years prior, Tom served as a Vice President and Director of Century Molded Plastics, 24 hour/day manufacturing facility. As a leader, stockholder and officer in the family owned organization, Tom succeeded in leading the softening and reshaping of the corporate culture by improving trust with employees, vendors and customers. He led and developed a true Partnering relationship with a major customer that led to the subsequent acquisition of the partner company. Tom also pioneered the implementation of groundbreaking programs such as: job sharing, production employee incentive programs, Just-In-Time truckload deliveries and served on multi-vendor, product restaging development team for an international food company.
Tom has extensive, hands on experience in all areas of management, as
well as in marketing, positioning, branding, sales, financial operations,
product development, manufacturing operations, vendor negotiations and
acquisitions. He implemented the computerization of all facets of his
company's operating and fiscal systems. He was responsible for all fiscal
aspects of the business, including working with banks and market creditors,
as well as training of operations and administrative staff.
Tom has a degree in Business Management and Administration from Bradley University. He is past President of the Midwest Plastics Association, a past chapter President of Business Networkers International and was a charter member of the International Housewares Association's Chief Officers Reaching for Excellence program. Tom is a certified affiliate and leadership trainer of the Resource Associates Network and Affiliate of Target Training International for their TriMetrixTM assessment instruments. He serves on the advisory board for two organizations.

Tom's

Leadership Potential to the University of Chicago Booth School of
Business MBA Leadership Group and the inaugural keynote address to the
Novus
Entrepreneurs Network of Peoria. He regularly conducts private
workshops on Dynamic Communication for client team members.
Tom is married for 30+ years and has two grown children.
